Her selfless act which we thought will be applauded by authorities was deemed a misconduct.
It was later reported that the Ghana Education Service(GES) had called the teacher for questioning over her ‘unacceptable behaviour’.
Abena Serwaa Mankosa has narrated the ordeal personnel from the GES and some men from the Adankeame village took her through for doing a yeoman’s job.
She explained that the GES invited her over to explain her actions and provide documents to prove she can feed her pupils.
She also added that the GES accused her of using her students to seek help from investors and philanthropists which is against the law.
Abena Serwaa detailed how she was treated like a criminal and humiliated by the GES.
