He made this call in an interview with ZionFelix.
The ongoing banter between Oheneba Ntim Barima and his ‘son’ the Blind Historian is getting worse and worse by the day, and I think that third parties should quickly come in to help put the matter to rest for peace to prevail.
I believe by now, most readers have the gist of how it all started. Oheneba has accused Bulgaria of ungratefulness. His reason was that he appeared on Kofi TV for funds to be solicited for him as though he didn’t have anyone taking care of him. According to Oheneba, he used to provide him with all his needs and so was disappointed when it was made to seem the young man didn’t have a caretaker.
Since the issue began, both sides have granted interviews explaining their side of the story. After a careful study of their submissions, I believe both of them erred in one way or another, but since Bulgaria is the child, he should let elders accompany him to render an apology.
This morning, in an interview with Zion Felix, Bulgaria revealed that ever since the issue began, Net 2 TV had never called him to listen to his side of the story, but always say negative things about him on their channel. “I am very disappointed in their conduct. What kind of journalism is that?”, he queried.
What I believe is that when an issue happens between two parties, both sides must be heard before judgement is passed, and so if it happens that the judgement bases on only one side, then justice has not been served.
Most media platforms that have interviewed Oheneba have also done same for Bulgaria at least to have an idea of what the two sides have to say, but it appears Net 2 TV has been dwelling on only one side.
“I call on the Ghana Journalists Association, the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice and the Ghana Police to come to my aid”, Bulgaria cried out. “What sin at all have I committed?”, he asked. “What they are doing has some future repercussions”, he noted.
He believes that the way and manner Net 2 has been speaking ill about him can have some repercussions, and so has called on the authorities to come to his aid. He has also openly pleaded with Mr. Kennedy Agyapong to call his people to order.
