Her sudden demise has sparked a serious controversy between her husband and the family of the deceased as it has been alleged that he might have a hand in the death of Lilian due to how he used to abuse her physically.
On behalf of Lilian’s family, they suspect Prince Charles Dedjoe the husband of Lilian to have beaten him to death as the debunks the claims of her falling of storey building as his husband break the news.
However, the former Minister for Gender known as Madam Nana Oye Lithur has been very influential despite that he is no more in government. She always tried push the women empowerment and also fight for the rights of less fortunate women.
Nana Oye Lithur is trying to seek Justice for the late Lilian and her reason is that, in recent time, women have been suffering from abusive marriages which is getting out of hand with how some are seeing their untimely death through abusive marriages.
On the 11th of March, 2021, Nana Oye Lithur made a post about seeking Justice for the Late Lilian as she urged netizens to join the campaign.

Today being it 22nd of March, 2021, Prince Charles showed up at the Madina Dictrict Court for the second time and has been remanded on 2nd of April to show up once again as it has been adjourned.
Nana Oye Lithur, family and sympathizers of Lilian stormed the Madina District Court as reported by Angel FM Journalist, Nana Hemaa with three Lawyers to stand in and enforce Justice for Lilian.The aggressive sympathizers were in black and red as they seek for Justice for Lilian with a very peaceful demonstration.
