According to Kennedy Agyapong, the country gets only 250 Million Dollars a year whiles a company like Newmont gets over 6 Billion Dollars a year.
He also talked about how he challenged a Minister under the Kufuor government on why Ghana negotiated to accept only 10% of the oil revenue. The Assin Central MP says he’d rather let the minerals remain untouched than agree to such contracts.
