Information reaching myinfo.com.gh is that some operatives at Seat of the Presidency, the Jubilee House have ordered media houses to stay away from publishing stories about a viral video of embattled personal driver of the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation(GNPC) Dr. KK Sarpong.
A video went viral last week when man whose identity is now confirmed as Nana Prempeh, a personal driver of the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) took to social media to flaunt bundles of dollars and vehicles to the shock of many.
Some officials at the Presidency, soon after the publication appear uncomfortable.
The official who gave the instruction said they had ordered other media houses to stay away from the story and the said media houses had obeyed.
According to sources, the matter was being handled by both the National Security and National Investigations Bureau (NIB).
Meanwhile, the latest information uncovered reveals that the man in question has a fleet of luxurious vehicles to his credit and flaunts them at the least opportunity.
Details and locations of mansions owned by the driver who earns approximately Ghc5,600 basic salary minus allowances a month when was employed around November 2019 will be published later.
It would be recalled that the driver was seen flaunting his home and cars in Trassacco estates while showing off US$100,000.
People have wondered how a “common driver” will be able to afford a Trassacco home, the cars seen in the video and $100,000 if it indeed is his as he claims.
K.K Sarpong employed him from the Manhyia palace 2 years ago, when he (K.K Sarpong) was supposed to choose one of the many drivers from the pool of drivers at GNPC, he declined and said he didn’t trust any of them enough.
