There are a lot of graduates in this country that have done National Service after completing their various Universities. When doing the service, most of the graduates were complaining about the National Service allowance. The graduate were saying that, the allowance that they have been collecting was not enough. But now there is good news for all the graduates that will be doing National Service when they complete their various Universities and colleges. Also it is good news for those who are in the service now.
According to the Executive Director of the National Service Secretariat, Personnel of the manadated National Service Scheme have received an increment in their monthly allowance. He added that, the allowance of GH¢ 559 has been increased to GH¢ 799 with the immediate effect.
Hon. Mustapha Ussif also stated that, this achievement has been fought for years now and they are very glad it has finally happened. He concluded that, all personnels should focus on their various work at their place of posting, as they are always fighting day in day out for their welfare.
