Recall a few days to the 2020 Ghana elections? Sarkodie dropped a song titled Happy Day in which he featured Kuami Eugene.
In the song, he praised President Nana Addo for a stable power supply and free SHS under his reign.
Well, just after the elections, frequent power outages have become an everyday thing.
Nonetheless, new taxes have been introduced and this is a burden on the Ghanaian work force.
Sarkodie who has been a very good critic of Government policies through music is silent about these developments under the NPP government.
For this reason, US-Based Ghanaian Broadcast journalist, Ekow Kevin is angry at the rapper.
In a post on Facebook, he insinuated that Sarkodie is a hypocrite for giving a blind eye to all these wrongs happening under Nana Addo’s rulership. Whiles he was the same person who praised them.
Ekow Kevin feels if Sark was able to praise, then, he should be able to criticise as well.
He wrote: “Sarkodie did a song titled “Happy Day” Praising Akufo Addo For Giving him Free SHS and Electricity during Covid Era Ghana is Back to Dumsor with outrageous Taxes and He Is Quiet.”
