The beautiful Ghanaian female celebrity who was convicted has finally been jailed. The controversial Actress and social media sensation Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo has been sentenced to 3 months in jail by an Accra Circuit Court on the 16th of April 2021.
On Wednesday Akuapem Poloo was convicted on her own plea by the Circuit Court in Accra after pleading guilty to all three charges. Her charges included the publication of obscene photos with her seven-year-old son. She had initially pleaded not guilty but changed it eventually.
Her Honour Christina Cann, who presided over the court postponed her sentencing to today due to the requirement that a female convict should be made to undergo pregnancy test to determine she wasn’t pregnant before sentencing is carried out.
The pregnancy test came out as negative which indicated she wasn’t pregnant and confirmed by the judge. This enabled the presiding judge to read her sentence of serving 90 days which is equivalent to three months in prison. Let Jehovah be her comfort.
