Some Ghanaians are not happy at all with the Ghana Water Company Limited after their taps flow with tea-like water after they have turned it on.
These individuals have taken to social media to complain bitterly about the ordeal and are calling on authorities to do something immediately to help the situation.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Water Company Limited had earlier said water supply to some parts of the country will be interrupted following some maintenance works.
Little did the customers know that they will be served tea from their taps. This can be equated to Biblical times when manna fell from the skies. Today, in Ghana, you can turn your tap on and be fed with brown chocolate tea.
One of these distraught Ghanaians who has pledged to leave the country due to the water situation is Okotosma who shared these photos on Twitter.

Many others who have suffered similar situations also added their voice and called on the GWCL to do something about the water situation. The GWCL has also blamed the activities of illegal mining aka Galamsey for the low quality of water.
According to them, their systems are filled with filth and silt from the mining water which they process into hygienic water for consumption and industrial usage. Hence, until the galamsey menace is dealt with, Ghanaians will surely be served with tea-like water.
Sadly, the water supply to Ghanaians is uneven and many have to rely on other means to get water. The situation is never getting better.
