Residents of the North-Eastern part of the capital, Accra are expected to experience power cuts effective today, Monday, May 10, 2021.
A statement by the State-power distributor recently said the power cut is necessary to enable its contractors undertake some works to improve power supply in Accra.
According to the ECG, power will be interrupted between 6:00am and 6:00pm, as well as 6:00pm and 6:00am within the scheduled period. This will occur in more than forty communities, which have been placed in four different groups – A, B, C and D.
Power is expected to stabilize by May 17, 2021.
