Captain Godsbrain Smart has come onto the airwaves again with more fire. After launching his online TV, Smart TV, after his suspension from Angel FM and TV, he has been coming our way with discussions on various issues.
On his program called Tutugya which was aired live on his online TV in the evening of 10th May, 2021, one of his major issues was on the beautification of the capital city. He spoke about how filth has engulfed the city of Accra, making comparison with other capital cities in Africa. The case of poor drainage systems in Accra could not be left out as a video of heavy floods preventing vehicles from using the roads was shown. Another disturbing situation that was shown was the absence of lighting on the Accra-Tema motorway during the night.
He condemned the attitudes of some ministers of state. But he however praised the CEO of COCOBOD for his visionary and proactive nature. He also praised the current Greater Accra regional minister for his enthusiasm in getting Accra clean. But he expressed his disappointment with some members of the NPP who are trying to stop his work due to political points they want to score in 2024.
