The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has warned of an impending disaster at Weija, a suburb of Accra.
Mr Kofi Koranteng Abrokwa, NADMO Director of Planning, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation told TV3’s Komla Adom in a yet-to-be published documentary titled : “Weija’s Ticking Time Bomb” that the people of the area must relocate immediately because of the impending disaster.
The documentary airs Tuesday May 18 on TV3 at 9:30PM.
“The people in that community should pack bag and baggage because there is a looming disaster.”
