The Assin central member of parliament, Honorable Kennedy Agyapong claims Ghana is in a state which sometimes makes him wonder if the interest of the whole country is at heart or not. After fighting all these years for the Ghanaian economy and for president Akufo-Addo, he claims he is being attacked by his own (people in the NPP ).This week brought surprises as honorable Kennedy Agyapong revealed that there are some top NPP officials who are against the desire to stop galamasey and these persons are the strongholds of those practicing it. Kennedy Agyapong spoke in sadness as to how this can be allowed to happen.
When I look at certain big men fueling and backing these young boys into galamsey operation, I am personally frightened about the safety of Ghana and I don’t know how to tell Ghanaians to change from their ways anymore- Kennedy Agyapong said. Honorable Kennedy Agyapong claims these names behind these acts are even some NPP big men and he is surprised and shocked to the core.
Kennedy Agyapong however revealed that there is no way he will watch this happen and that he will continue to speak up even if it will attract insults.
