UCC to confer Honorary Doctorate Degree on President Akufo Addo.

The University of Cape Coast will on Saturday, May 29, 2021, confer on President Akufo Addo the degree of Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Leadership (Honoris Causa).

The honor will be done the first gentleman of the land at a special congregation to be held at the university campus at Cape Coast at 10:00am.

A letter signed by Secretary to the Cabinet, Mercy Dapaah-Karikari for Secretary to the President, dated 17th May 2021 and copied to the Minister of Education said the President has accepted the decision by the Council of the University to honor him.

The Presidency consequently requested a programme outline of activities for consideration.
