According to Vim Lady Afia Pokuaa, the late Jerry John Rawlings wife Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has been sued over the ownership of her own property which is the 31st December Movement.
Vim Lady explained that, some elements in the NDC are pushing for full ownership of the Movement because they feel that 31st December Movement is a property of the NDC and not Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings. That means if she has resigned from the NDC, they want her to disassociate herself from holding anything related to the Movement.
Vim Lady Afia Pokuaa advised those pushing the case in court to truncate it. This is because everyone in Ghana Knows how the woman suffered to put up the 31st December Movement. It is her own property with support from her husband. That doesn’t make it a property of the NDC.
She added that, the court should not be an option because it will further deepen the cracks between the former first lady and the NDC.
