The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe alias Abronye, has shamed and given a detail hint to a caretaker minister who made GHC75million from going against the state by issuing mining license to some illegal miners.
Abronye revealed that the caretaker minister even managed to seize legal mining license from his own party members just to hand it over to galamsey operators for money.

According to the NPP Chairman, the caretaker minister who was given an opportunity by President Akufo-Addo to look after our mineral resources ignored warnings from Chief of Staff, Madam Frema Opare and still went ahead to collect bribes to the tune of GHC75million.
Abronye therefore called on Parliament to suspend any mining license that has been recently issued to show their support on the fight against illegal mining.
