A Senior Police Officer has died hours after complaining of being in severe pain and was admitted at the Bechem Government Hospital, MyNewsGh.com.
Superintendent Joseph Ackah who is the Bechem Divisional Police Commander in the Tano South district of the Ahafo, according to police sources fell sick on Saturday June 5, 2021 and was admitted at the hospital.
He however died few hours on admission at the facility of an unknown ailment according to family sources which confirmed the incident to MyNewsGh.com.
The body of Superintendent Joeseph Ackah has since been deposited at the same hospital morgue while arrangements are underway to be transferred to police hospital morgue in Accra for preservation and autopsy.
His death adds up to over 70 personnel of the Ghana Police Service who have died of various ailments in the first half of 2021.
