The former Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, Collins Owusu Amankwah has given a chilling account of how some Cameroonians have formed a car snatching syndicate in Ghana.
Speaking on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, the former MP who is also a Security expert revealed that the Cameroonians steal cars, hide trackers in it and sell to people- later to steal it back.
He claimed that even if it is an expensive Toyota Land Cruiser one wants to buy for cheap, they will be able to provide it for you. However, after selling the car, they keep a spare key and track the car till they steal it from the buyer again.
“They call their business 99 business… they have criminals in all sectors”, he said.
