Reverend Christian Andrew, well known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, is the founder and leader of the Ghana Union Movement political party. He believed that Ghana could only develop if we use the Nkrumah initiative.
Recently, John Agyekum Kufour made a serious allegation against Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. He stated that Dr.Kwame Nkrumah should be blamed for Ghana’s current problems. He stated that Nkrumah was not visionary. This made him receive massive reactions from Ghanaians.
In an exclusive interview with Kevin Taylor on the Loud Silence Show, he expressed complete displeasure and disappointment in Kuffour. He alleged that Kuffour probably made that statement because of old age. He went on to state the numerous achievement of Nkrumah.
“I am disappointed in him for saying that. He probably did not know what he was saying. This is maybe because of his old age. I do not agree with him at all. When Nkrumah decided to build the Akosombo dam, they decided to allow him to do it only if it’s done on a short-term basis. However, he persevered to do it on a long term basis and he succeeded in doing it. We are currently enjoying from it. If the previous government had continued with this policy, we wouldn’t be suffering from this current power fluctuation.”
