Recently, a group of 10 people has been identified to be plotting a coup to overthrow and eliminate president Akufo-Addo and his government.
One of the the plotters has been captured by an audio recording.
Warrant Officer, Esther Saan, was captured on an audio suggesting president Akuffo-Addo need to be eliminated. She is the only female among the 10 people who plotted the coup.
Investigations is ongoing so is the hearing of the case. Esther Saan revealed that she wanted to be the president if their coup was to be successful under cross examination.
“I wanted to be the president, if our plan had been succeeded, and my friends would have been the ministers of state.” She pleaded guilty and said this under cross examination.
Colonel Isaac Amponsah who is the Director of Operational Intelligence at the Defense Intelligence of the Ghana Armed Forces was the prostitution’s first witness.
The case is still in and hearing will continue on 14th July to know what to do with this lady.
