Young Police Officers who belonging to the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit of the Ghana Police Service have expressed worry at the spate at which their colleagues are been killed.
According to the officers, they are pleading with criminals to put their activities to rest to save their lives.
The Police who were glaringly worried by the rise in criminal activities across the country expressed their worry through the songs they chanted at the one-week observation of their colleague who was slain during an attack on a bullion van at James Town in Accra.
To them, they should be seen as friends in communities in which they serve in order to ensure that there is law and order.
The one week observation for Constable Michael Osei was held at Kakraba Nyanyano near Kasoa in the Central Region.
Earlier a requiem service was held for him at the the St Joseph the Walker Catholic Church.
