Actress Efia Odo has cried out after the murder of Fix the country activist Ibrahim Kaaka Mohammed by a mob in Ejura Sekyeredumase.
Odo says she’s in fear for her life following the brutal murder of Kaaka in the Ashanti region for daring to go up against the government..
As we reported on Monday, Ibrahim Kaaka, a known fix the country activist, has sadly died.
Kaaka died due to his activism, beaten to death by a mob.
He had been a constant thorn in the flesh of the reigning NPP government along with other fix the country protest leaders.
In the early hours of Saturday, June 26th, Kaaka was laid upon by a mob who assaulted him.
He was sent to the Ejura Sekyeredumase District Hospital with numerous life threatening injuries.
On Monday, JJune 28th, it was sadly announced that he had died.
His death has sparked outrage amongst Ghanaians on social media.
We are all left to wonder – why should somebody fighting for a better Ghana be beaten to death by his own fellow Ghanaians?
Kaaka prior to his death was reported to have received numerous death threats from people in the NPP for making the government unpopular with his activism.
Reacting to his death, a heartbroken Efia Odo said she is now scared due to what has happened to their colleague.
According to her, she is broken and does not know what to do anymore.
Odo has been at the forefront of the fix the country fight but this murder has shaken her and we cannot know if she would keep fighting.
Obviously that kind of fear was why Kaaka was killed. So those left behind would think twice before continuing with their activism.
