Just In: Ghanaian student in Italy dies of coronavirus
Coronavirus has had it first Ghanaian casualty in a young student studying abroad.
A young Ghanaian studying in Italy died yesterday, 16th March 202O after testing positive days ago.
According to a friend who shared the sad news on Twitter, the deceased is the only child of his mother.

. For those of you out there thinking the virus don’t attack Blacks, well my friends in Italy died yesterday. I have to hold her mum here all day. Her only son died from Corona virus. It’s not easy to lose your only child abroad studying
As if the news of the child’s death isn’t enough, the mother in Ghana wouldn’t be able to see the body of his son as he’ll be buried today in Italy.
