Sputnik vaccine probe : Ken Ofori Atta must also resign – Sammy Gyamfi demands.

The National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi is demanding that, Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta also resign for his role in the procurement of the Sputnik V vaccines for Ghana.

According to the NDC Communications Officer, Mr. Ken Ofori Atta is the chief culprit in the botched acquisition of the vaccines for Ghana and not only the health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu.

He did not understand why no one is talking about the role of the finance Minister in the deal, but only concentrating on the health Minister.

Sammy Gyamfi further alleged that, Ken Ofori Atta paid a whopping 160 Billion old Cedis to Sheikh Almaktoum of Dubai without Parliamentary approval.

” Is it because he is a cousin to the President?”, Sammy Gyamfi quizzes.

Meanwhile, there are reports that, the health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu has tendered in his resignation letter to the President as there is continuous pressure on him to resign.
