The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) has embarked on strike, registering their displeasure over their conditions of service.
But as the negotiations between the UTAG executives and government were ongoing, the National Labour Commission (NLC) secured an injunction to compel the lecturers to resume work.
However, UTAG has refused to comply with the injunction; accusing government of ‘bad faith’
Chief Executive Officer of Public Sector Reforms, Mr. Kusi Boafo reacting to this during a discussion on Peace FM‘s The Platform programme, gave a piece of ‘interesting’ advice to the government.
