Dr Louisa Satekla, the wife of dancehall musician Stonebwoy, has stretched a helping hand to an 18-year-old orphan, Naomi Dede Mensah suffering from chronic kidney disease.
Dr Louisa Satekla paid for the full dialysis session of Naomi who is suffering from chronic kidney disease.
Naomi and her relative, Faustina had given up hope because of their inability to fund the expensive service when Stonewbwoy’s wife came to their rescue.
Dr Louisa revealed in a social media post that a clinical psychologist at the Korle-Bu renal dialysis unit reached out to her about Naomi’s situation.
According to Dr. Louisa, she was moved to tears when she got there on Monday, August 16, to offer her little help.
Explaining why she shed tears, she said she came to meet Naomi and Faustina getting ready to return to their village to await the worse fate because they had no hopes for funds for the dialysis.
She added that the expensive procedure had exhausted their wallets so the only option was to spend the rest of her days on earth with family before she dies.
Stonewboy’s wife has now taken up it upon herself to raise funds for the young lady’s survival after paying for Naomi’s next dialysis.
Louisa took to her Instagram page to plead with her followers to donate any amount to a mobile money account to help save the little orphan girl.
Part of Dr. Louisa’s post read, “Naomi and her cousin Faustina will really appreciate any form or support you can give them via her mobile money account 0246628013 (Faustina Dede)”.
