The Chief Executive of Ghana Employers Association has stated that his outfit is working with government to ensure that workers are not laid off in this challenging times.
Speaking on Joynews, on the PM Express Show, he stressed that the last decision for any business to take is to lay off.
”Currently we are in discussion with the government on so many options that are likely to to cushion the impact of the COVID-19 on businesses”.
” So we are hopeful are more encouraged that these measures will yield results and support businesses so that the issue of any likely lay off may be something that may not come to fruition” he opined”.
One major challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic is on the survival of businesses and governments across the world are ensuring that the impact on COVID-19 is mitigated.
