FrimpongThe Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe has asserted that Ex-Ghana president John Mahama was born with a special trait which makes him smell corruption more than a trained sniffer dog can smell narcotics
Speaking on the Asempa Fie show which airs on NPP related TV and Radio station Wontumi TV, the outspoken NPP Chairman popularly known as Abronye DC, said that NDC’s flagbearer John Mahama is entangled in a web of corruption and has failed to convince Ghanaians that he has had a change of mind.
Before recalling some of the shame acts of corruption that happened under the watch of the NDC’s flagbearer when he was President, Abronye stated that “Mahama smells corruption more than a dog. We can’t vote for a person of such calibre. He is very good at corruption because he is a corrupt guy”
He furthermore revealed that when the late former President John Evans Atta-Mills imposed a ban on Armajaro Holdings after investigative reporter, Anas Aremeyaw Anas uncovered that they were smuggling cocoa from Ghana into neighboring Cote d’Ivoire, it took Mr. Mahama to reverse the decision because he was bribed with $2 million.
According to him, the late former President did not make an impact in the fight against corruption because his vice (John Mahama) was sabotaging him.
“Anytime Atta-Mills wakes up, he will hear about corruption involving that 419 guy (John Mahama). Anas came out with an investigative piece to show that Armajaro Holdings was struggling cocoa to Cote d’Ivoire.
“Atta-Mills banned Armajaro Holdings from buying cocoa from Ghana but we had a corrupt vice President who was richer than the President because of his corrupt ways. John Mahama went to the UK Company and took $2 million dollars from them as bribe”, he added
