Brazil and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward, Neymar Jr, has observed without mincing words that African footballers lack passion when it comes to representing their national teams.
He noted that African footballers are among the best in Europe at the club level.
However, he said they have not been able to better represent their countries.
According to him,
“African players have talent , but they don’t show it for their national teams. That’s why Brazil has 5 World Cups; African players don’t have much passion to represent their countries like South Americans. The best African players also play for the best clubs in Europe.”
