Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has written to Ghana’s Ministry of Sports, urging the ex-GFA president to stay away from football.
Football and its connected activities were banned for life by FIFA, but this was later reduced to 15 years by the Court of Arbitration for Sports.
Prior to, during, and after Ghana’s pivotal World Cup playoff game with Nigeria, former GFA President Kwesi received favourable coverage in Ghanaian media for his involvement in helping Ghana qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
That the former GFA president’s name continues to dominate football concerns in the nation appears to worry the investigative journalist who led to Nyantakyi’s suspension.
Anas reportedly wrote to the ministry of sports, asking why the ministry of sports in Ghana was having football interactions with the ex-GFA capo according to Kessben Sports hosted by Joe Laka.
