In a post on Instagram, the 43-year-old sound engineer said he went to mourn with the Rawlings family after the demise of the former president’s mother, Madam Victoria Agbotui.
“I visited the Rawlings’s to give them my condolence 🙏🏽”, he wrote on Instagram.

The Office of His Excellency Jerry John Rawlings has announced that the funeral of Madam Agbotui, mother of former President Rawlings would be communicated in due course.
Madam Victoria Agbotui departed in the early hours of Thursday, September 24, 2020, was 101.
“The Office of His Excellency Jerry John Rawlings, Togbi Agbesi Awusu II, Awadada of the Anlo State, the Head of the Royal Bate Family of the Anlo State and the Agbotui and allied families, wish to inform the general public of the demise of Madam Victoria Agbotui, the mother of His Excellency”, per the statement released.
The former President, the Anlo State and the Agbotui and allied families are thanking those who have expressed their sympathies.
However, the family is politely asking the general public to respect their privacy during this difficult period as they mourn the demise of their beloved mother.
They also added that anyone wishing to pay a courtesy visit should kindly call 0264444464 to secure appointments as details of the funeral would be communicated to the general public in due course.
The late Madam Victoria Agbotui, a native of Dzelukope near Keta in the Volta Region once headed the catering division at the presidency during his son’s era as President.
Born in 1919, the late mother of the former President supported his son all through his political career.
