Gyan had been linked with Asante Kotoko the whole summer but the Royals presented the most attractive offer, winning over Ghana’s all-time top scorer.

The deal sees Gyan earn over “$1 million dollars in cash and packages” according to his agent, Samuel Anim Addo who was speaking to Joy Sports exclusively.
As part of the deal, Mathew Cudjoe, who played for Kotoko last season also joins Legon Cities.
The former Sunderland striker returns to the Ghana Premier League where it all began for him 17 years ago.
The 34-year-old scored 10 goals in 16 appearances for Liberty in his only spell in the league.
Gyan will join the first team of Legon Cities for training next week ahead of the start of the new season on November 13.
