Captain Smart this morning on Onua TV’s ‘Maakye’ morning show sent a strong warning to some entertainment industry. According to Captain Smart, the African politics is one of the muddiest and dangerous grounds to play in. He noted that many with amazing talents have been destroyed just because they took a side in politics.
Captain Smart listed a number of entertainment personalities, especially artistes who have lost their career because they chose to get involved in politics. Some of the talents include A Plus, Agya Koo, Clement Bonny, Sidney, Daddy Lumba, Diana Asamoah, Lucky Mensah, Cindy Thompson, Obaapa Christy, Samini, Shatta Wale and Prince Yawson. Captain Smart made huge allegations against some of them and how plans were made to destroy them.
“People met at Golden Tulip to plan on how to destroy Obaapa Christy. Others had a meeting to discredit Philippa Baafi during her childbirth brouhaha. They had a meeting at Kingby Roundabout. One member is from the Volta Region. They planned to kill her talent.
Shatta Wale is next, be careful. Between now and 2024 they will try to kill your talent. They don’t understand why you alone they try and you survive. They just don’t get it. They have had series of meetings against you already. John Dumelo, they have started destroying your talent. They feel you are a threat to them.
You have no idea what these politicians can do. As a young person, don’t put your talent away and go about to follow politicians. They will turn around and destroy you. The African politician is a dangerous specie. Be careful. They will hurt you and your talent” Captain Smart said
