AdubianewsGhana’s Black Stars have climbed one place in the latest FIFA world ranking but remain unchanged on the continental table.
Otto Addo’s side, who had been ranked 76th globally in back-to-back updates, now sit in 75th position following their September 2025 World Cup Qualifier matches. The team drew against Chad before defeating Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium to maintain top spot in Group I.
Despite this progress in the global standings, Ghana’s continental position has not improved. The Black Stars still occupy 14th place among African teams, reflecting the tough competition on the continent.
Head coach Otto Addo expressed optimism about the future, stating that with consistent performances, the team can improve both globally and in Africa. He is hopeful of further advancement when the Black Stars return to action later this year.
For now, the team’s priority remains sustaining their World Cup qualifying momentum while working towards breaking into the top 10 on the continent.
