News available to adwoaadubianews indicates that a final year student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) who offers Geological Engineering has murdered an Uber driver in a forest near Nyinahini in Atwima Nponua district in the Ashanti region.
The KNUST final year student ” name with held” pending detailed investigations said that the decease owns him an amount of One thousand two hundred(1200)Ghana cedis.The student said that all attempt to retrieve his money from the Uber driver proved futile.
The student together with his friend hired the taxi from Mamponteng in the Kwabre East District and told the decease to drive them to Nyinahini. On their way to Nyinahini ,they reached a typical forest where they tied a robe around his neck and threw him into the forest.
Kwabre East Divisional Police command conducted thorough investigations while the student and the police officers went to where they discarded the body .
The body of the decease has deposited at the Okomfo Anokye Hospital.
