The sitting member of parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has landed himself into a dreadful spiritual problem succeeding his unexpected decision on refusing to contest in this year’s parliamentarian elections on the ticket of the ruling NPP political party, we report.
In the early months of this year, the NPP firebrand and philanthropist publicly disclosed that, he had arrived at a conclusion not to contest in this year’s parliamentary elections to represent the constituents of Assin Central in Parliament.
According to the moneyed businessman who doubles as a politician same time a Philanthropist, he has served the good people of Assin Central for close to 20 years now and he believes it’s now time for him to step aside for another person to also serve the people as he did.
Well, this decision from Kennedy Agyapong seems not to sit in the minds well, as they have called on the gods of the lands to deal with Kennedy Agyapong for abandoning them at a period they need him the most.
According to the angry Chiefs, they are worried they might never find a perfect replacement for the soon to be out of parliament politician citing from the developmental projects he spearheaded and his selfless leadership style.
Kennedy Agyapong is yet to comment on this disturbing and worrisome developing story which is currently garnering massive attention on the Ghanaian internet community.
