AdubianewsGhanaian socialite and nightlife kingpin Nana Kojo Boateng, popularly known as Dada Joe Remix, is reportedly facing the possibility of a 20-year prison sentence in the United States if convicted on multiple fraud-related charges.
According to credible sources, he was allegedly arrested in Accra on May 28, 2025, in a covert operation involving Ghanaian authorities and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
The arrest is linked to allegations of defrauding individuals of approximately $2.9 million through suspected romance scams and cybercrime. The operation, reportedly conducted in collaboration with Ghana’s Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO), is part of a broader international crackdown on financial and online fraud.
Despite several media outlets reporting the arrest, Dada Joe Remix’s spokesperson, Fredrick Agyei, has denied any such development, stating that no official confirmation has been issued by the FBI, EOCO, or the Ghana Police Service.
This denial has led to public uncertainty and speculation. Nonetheless, insiders familiar with the matter claim that the extradition process is currently under consideration.
As of now, U.S. authorities have not formally confirmed charges or extradition, but if proceedings go forward and result in a conviction, Dada Joe Remix could face up to 20 years in prison. The case remains under investigation, and further updates are expected as the legal process unfolds.
