The enstoolment is in recognition of the town’s massive development under the NPP government which has given it a facelift.
The Effiduase chief, Nana Adu Ameyaw II, who was speaking at a durbar on the commissioning of a 5km road said that Nana Oseadeeyo has fulfilled his promise by fixing the township’s deplorable roads.
“Most of the major access routes leading to our farmlands have been fixed. We are grateful to you.”Nana Ameyaw II noted.
According to him, Efiduase- Asokore communities have expanded and for that matter improving the road network in the area is vital.
Nana Ameyaw II also extended appreciation to the government for introducing the free SHS policy which he said, “has reduced the child labour menace at Effiduase”
“We are grateful that our community’s Technical Senior High School is now a government-assisted but the school needs further expansion so we need your assistance.” Nana Ameyaw pleaded.
He said that the Effiduase area stretching up to Ejisu and Kumawu lacks a Nursing Training College and to save their town’s people from the inconvenience of traveling to distant places the Effiduasehene requested the Vice President to site one in the area.
“Several unemployed youths are residing here so we’re appealing to you to help construct a factory in our community to combat the high crime rate which is a big challenge confronting us.” Nana appealed.
Nana Ameyaw II further said that the community is constructing a sports stadium through its own efforts but would need the support of the Vice President to complete it.
“We have allocated a portion of our land space to be used for the construction of a hospital and wish we could be considered for inclusion in the list of towns to benefit from the government’s programme on improving infrastructure in the health sector.
