Family and mourners gather at Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo’s residence to pay tribute

The family of Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo, affectionately known as “Kantanka,” has been thrown into mourning following his passing on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

At his residence, a somber atmosphere filled the air as relatives, close friends, and sympathizers gathered to console the bereaved family. Among those receiving mourners was his daughter, former Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Adwoa Safo, who stood with her siblings and other relatives to welcome visitors who came to pay their respects.

Mourners described the late Apostle Safo as more than a man of God — they hailed him as an innovator, philanthropist, and industrialist who dedicated his life to uplifting society. His pioneering works in technology, particularly the creation of locally manufactured vehicles and machinery, earned him admiration as a national treasure.

Some sympathizers also reflected on his contributions to agriculture, industry, and the church, stressing that his impact went beyond Ghana’s borders. “He was a man who combined faith with innovation and proved that Africans could dream big and achieve,” one mourner said.

As tributes poured in, the family remained visibly emotional, acknowledging the depth of the loss while drawing strength from the overwhelming support of Ghanaians. Plans for his funeral arrangements are expected to be announced in the coming days, but many say his legacy will endure for generations.
