The Ghana Football Association(GFA) will take a decision on the fate of the 2019/20 League Season when the Executive Council Members(ExCO) meets today(Tuesday).
The FA’s top officials will meet to discuss how to resume their competitions despite COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ghana Premier League alongwith other competitions has being suspended from mid-march 2020 due to Global pandemic Corona Virus. There has being several consultations with the Government by the Ghana Football Association to resume the suspended the league season.
All competitions have been left in limbo following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
The FA having being in limbo for months, are burnt to take a decision whether to cancel or continue the league season when they meet today.
Currently, Corona Virus has left the clubs suffering to pay players, technical staff and management team resorting to a pay cut.
The Executive Committee will meet in an online conference today to decide the fate of football competitions in the country.
Should the league be continued, the ExCO will have to come up with a creative plan to finish the competitions before the 2019/20 league calendar ends.
