Yaw Buaben Asamoah has cautioned Ghanaians to disregard assertions from Former President Mahama that Ghana is hard.
According to the NPP’s Communications Director, Mahama and the NDC are fuelling a false perception of hardship in Ghana which is unrealistic and vague.
Speaking at the party’s press conference in Accra today, Yaw Buaben Asamoah said the NPP is not perturbed with the statements of doom by Mahama because he is incompetent.
“We are not frightened of John Mahama, we know he cannot manage the economy, so we can’t let him poison your minds because if you’re sitting your somewhere and they keep telling you ‘oh it is bad, Ghana is hard, there is corruption, Ghana is hard’. Then sometimes, you think it’s true. So we have to speak back.”
He added that Mahama and NDC are spewing falsehood about the true state of Ghana in order to score cheap political points.
“We’re not frightened by John Mahama. We know he cannot give you a good education, we know he cannot give you good health, he will collapse NHIA. We know he cannot manage the economy. Interest rates, inflation will go up, growth will drop and we’ll go back to the IMF,” Yaw Buaben Asamoah said.
