Parts of the Greater Accra and Central Region have experienced earth tremors.
The tremor which took place at about 10:40 pm Wednesday, June 24, 2020, occurred three times in the space of 10 minutes.
History has it that the last most dangerous earthquake in Ghana occurred in June 1936, around 7:30pm, lasted between 20-30 seconds, killing 17 persons and over 135 injured.
Before that, in 1862, every major stone building in the Gold Coast was razed down by Earthquake.
Wednesday’s (June 24, 2020) tremor however scared people and got them panicked as they proceed outside their room to a more spacious place for safety.
