Ghanaian rapper Guru NKZ has expressed pride in maintaining a clean image throughout his music career, saying his brand has largely stayed away from controversies.
Speaking in an interview on Okay FM, the “Lapaz Toyota” hitmaker said that while no one is perfect, he is grateful that his brand has not been associated with any major scandals.
“Luckily, my brand Guru NKZ has no serious controversies surrounding it, though no one is perfect,” he said.
According to Guru, his reputation and consistency in the industry stem from conscious efforts to stay disciplined and focused on his craft rather than engaging in unnecessary drama.
He added that although he wouldn’t describe his brand as flawless, it is well-structured and under effective management, which has helped sustain his credibility over the years.
Guru’s remarks highlight his commitment to professionalism and maintaining a respectable image in Ghana’s entertainment space.
