The former Minister of State for Greater Accra and Northern Region and the first Vice Chancellor of UPSA, Professor Joshua Alabi, has revealed that his sport master back at Tamale senior high school once walked up to him and gave him six slaps for mistakenly elbowing him in a basket ball training.
Prof. Joshua Alabi revealed this as guest on ‘PM EXPRESSION’ on Joy News television yesterday, 11th June 2021, when he described his most awkward moment at senior high school.
According to him, he was a good basketball player so one day at training, their sports master who wasn’t good at playing basketball ball decided to join to them to train. By the rules of the game, you don’t have to tackle from behind, but the sports master was behind him when he was bouncing the ball so his elbow hit his mouth and injured him.
” I didn’t know he took offence from it. One day we had a football match and he went into the field and the students started hooting at him.
I didn’t hoot at him. He took at the crowd and walked straight at me and gave me six slaps.” He said
He added that the guys around him told the teacher he wasn’t hooting at him, but he told them that he understands why he did that to him.
