It has emerged that the Assin Central Member of Parliament in 2011 made similar damning allegations of dealing in illicit drugs against the CEO for the Multimedia Group.
Kennedy Agyapong is reported to have said that “Joy FM the drugs that was used to establish your firm if you joke I will expose you. Jones is not dead, I will show you, people, where you used to send the drugs”.
He continued “I’m not afraid of Joy FM, I’m not afraid of you. If you joke I will disgrace people”.
But it has also emerged that loudmouth politician made similar allegations in 2011 against Kwasi Twum; an allegation he later retracted and apologized after lawyers for the media mogul threatened a legal suit.
The Assin Central Lawmaker said then that he was “pushed to the wall” in making the comments that suggested that Kwasi Twum had something to do with drug trafficking.
He expressed his admiration for the personality of Kwasi Twum and how he carries himself but indicated that’s imperative that he calls his presenters to order.
According to the MP, it is an in-law of his who has been arrested for drug offences and wondered how that should translate into him being a drug baron.
