Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has expressed gratitude to John Dramani Mahama for the “singular” decision to name her as his running mate.
She said she was overwhelmed by the conversation that such a decision generated in the country.
Your Excellency John Dramani Mahama, your singular decision to select me as your running mate has generated a whole web of responses and debates in this country.
“And I keep saying that I didn’t know that my name will create such an atmosphere,” she admitted.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang was speaking at her unveiling on Monday, July 27 at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
