Former Health Minister in the John Mills administration, Dr Sipa Yankey has waded into the controversy of the Akufo-Addo government promising to build 94 hospitals within a year.
Dr. Yankey argued that procurement processes for the new hospitals alone could take several months thereby eating into the timeline of delivery.
He insists government must focus on completing abandoned hospital projects while procurement for the new hospitals is ongoing.
Dr Sipa Yankey said this in an interview with Joy News’ Gifty Andoh Appiah on The Pulse on the Joy News Channel.
