After declaring her support for Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, running mate of John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the NDC for the 2020 general elections.
Ghana’s humour therapist and actress, Afia Schwarzenegger speaking in an interview with Frema Adunyame and Ato Kwamina on Citi TV’s Upside Down, has asserted that even though she is too impatient to be a politician, she would not mind serving in a political office if she is given an appointment.
She said …“I will accept a political appointment; it’s just like being a caretaker but my late uncle left me advice and that is to fear delegates”.
As a strong advocate for women empowerment, Afia stated she will throw her support behind any woman who is capable of doing the job in the political space and added by throwing out a caution that her support is not for the likes of Madam Akua Donkor.
