The controversial MP for Assin Central and business mogul Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has responded to the claims alleged by Sammy Gyamfi, the national communications officer for the largest opposition party NDC, that Hon. Ken has created fear and panic in the “Ayegbe’s” and “Denkyira’s” in his constituency and denied them of their rights of partaking in the ongoing voter registration exercise. The sitting member of Parliament reacted to these allegations from Sammy Gyamfi on Asempa FM’s “Enkosiisen”.

Hon. Ken said he was very surprised after watching the video of Gyamfi making those allegations, because there was nothing like that of that sought happening in his constituency, and everything was going on well peacefully.

He added that the people of his constituency told him to even rest because he has already won the election, when he on a tour at the constituency.
Hon. Ken, added that Sammy Gyamfi was acting hypocritical since Ato Forson, the MP for Ajumako constituency sent macho men from Kumasi to his constituency and forcefully asked most of the people over there to register and even bussing people from other places to come and register at his constituency to register but Gyamfi never spoke about it.
These were the exact words of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong;

“I’m surprise all the soldiers are silent because of understanding democracy and I’m not sure that when his founder started the coup, he was born at that time. How can you say you flash the soldiers out and when are you coming to flash them out.

Why never talked about Ajumako Constituency where Ato Forson, took macho men from Kumasi and forcefully asking people to go and register and bussing people from other constituency to go and register.
What kind of stupidity is that. let me dare him, if he thinks he is a man, let him joke and I will silence him in 3 seconds. He is bad boy and why do he talks like that and think there’s no man in Ghana. He want to destroy the peace atmosphere we are enjoying.”
