Freelance investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has poked a finger in the eye of the ruling government, saying it is too ashamed to talk about corruption due to the rot that’s occurred under their watch since January 7th, 2017.
Taking to social media, the former Joy News employee wrote that the president of Ghana H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo, while he was only a candidate going into the 2016 election said he was going to use funds saved from corruption to help fund government projects.
Mannaseh avers that exactly the opposite has been the case when Akufo-Addo came to power.
He intimates the current government is so corrupt it is even ashamed to talk about the fight against corruption.
“2016: “We will fund our projects with savings from corruption fight.”
2020: They are too ashamed to talk about corruption.” he wrote in a post on social media.
